I'm guessing crater.

<"I have been collecting a few pictures like this crater lately. Are these likely to be volcanic or from meteors? The ejecta like areas are usually higher off the ground."

FIrst off, it's not a very good image to from which to determine the topography. The contrast for what ever reason is really poor.

Longitude of image center: 196.07°W
Latitude of image center: 51.92°N

Breaking out the trusty Mars globe, the crater is in the northern lowlands, just north of. There is a tendency for craters, especially ones this small, in the orthern "ocean" areas to have softened features. Indeed, if you look at all the other craters in the MOC stripe, they're all very "soft".

I'll find and post some nice Tuyas.
