Hi Raoul,

Saturn missed the Moon by 3' here in the San Francisco too. I did get a daytime (4PM PST) view of the Moon and Saturn. I couldn't believe I was seeing Saturn during the day. I grabbed my camera, loaded the film and mounted it to the telextender. I don't know how well the pictures will come out, this was my first attempt at day time astrophotography (like I'm any good at night) and Saturn was very small without an eyepiece. Every time I put an eyepiece in with the camera hooked up I couldn't focus on anything and I even tried putting a towel over my head to block the sun and reflections.

Do you have a chance for the Moon occulting Jupiter this week?

Regards,
SteveS
