HST: Costar or no Costar?
Ok, just read this in Ciel et Espace:
The ACS sensitivity will be far better than than the FOC's and it will cover a wider field: no more poictures without the upper left corner.
The field will go from 5 to 10 square minutes, ona square format!
Every pixel will cover a 0.05'' arc scale.
No more amputated pictures, only square ones!
I think the amputated pictures were the signature of Costar's presence.
But then, does it mean the COSTAR was in front of the FOC? (same box)
