Jupiter and the Sun
Jupiter pulses x-rays every 45 minutes; no one knows why...
The giant planet has still some mysterious things going on.
BTW, I was looking at the sun, through the telescope and filters, this morning, when, all of a sudden, a silhouetted 747 Jumbo jet crossed the sun; it took less than a second; there was some contrail behind.
The plane was recognizable and, yet, it must have been at least 10 miles away; I used the barlow2x lens and the 26mm eyepiece at that moment.
There are still a number of spots on the sun.
