Ok, got a clearer idea of what you are talking. These Voids could have something (exotic dark matter) which is repelling normal matter in which case it could be possible that not even a speck of normal matter is in these large areas. I don't really "believe" that this exotic dark matter does exist, but I do allow possiblity that something strange and unknown as exotic dark matter could exist.
