Asteroid buzzes close to earth before found

From NASA Watch Asteroid buzzes past Earth from blind spot. We need to work on the *blind spot*.

From the article;
"Invisible to the unaided eye, 2002 EM7 is too small to be classed as a "potentially hazardous asteroid". But it is probably between 50 to 100 metres across, making it larger than the object that exploded in 1908 over the Tunguska region of Siberia, flattening trees over 2000 square kilometres."

No wonder earthlings don't care enough about an impact threat. If 2002 EM7 is larger than the Tunguska object then I would say it is potentially hazardous. What? are we waiting for an asteroid of this size to explode over a populated area before it is classified as potentially hazardous. 2000 square kilometers can hold a lot of people.
