Everybody has a pet theory, but the facts are in on past observations, and there has been no discovery made regarding any outer-system potential Earth-impactor or Kuiper Belt perturber. The current threats are all discovered through observations of local space, with potential impactors discovered that offer extremely little warning. As our equipment and search techniques improve, however, so does the warning.

NEAs, that have been nearly colliding with the Earth for eons, are the true celestial hazards of our time,
Dan
