For what it's worth, Dennis Tito
hit the nail-on-the-head when he stated
on TV this morning that,"[sic] over the next few decades, or years, there will be TWO paying passengers [tourists] launched into space, annually, onboard Soyuz spacecraft."
Space tourism is now a practical business, as long as Russia needs the money and as long as "someone" can afford the 20-million dollar 'ticket price'. It's no longer a dream nor a "one shot deal".
But, don't despair if you can't afford the 20-million dollar privelage!
A German TV production company is still
planning a "reality TV show" intending to send a lucky winning contestant into space onboard a Soyuz.
I already sent e-mail to one of you
"zoners', months ago: recommending that he send his name in as a contestant. Who knows? He might have won a trip to space in a year or two if he had applied.
cheers.
