This thing shut down at least two years ago, once it served its purpose of establishing SpaceDev as a potential NASA & military contractor... now that they're picking up all the contracts they originally claimed they didn't want, there's no need to keep up the facade that NEAP was ever more than a paper study designed to propagandise the business.
Smart financial thinking by Benson; but those who believed that there was ever a realistic chance of NEAP getting up have a right to be annoyed about this.
