Memories
"Those were the days, my friend, we thought they'd never end, we'd sing and dance forever and a day"
Like a billion other people I've stood at the cape and trie to imagine what had happened on that spot in the past. It's easy for one's mind to get carried away, and sense a certain connectedness with the spirit of the occasions, the people, the efforts and the experiences.
And then, reality strikes, and dealing with the unknown young tigers of today takes over from petting the aged, tamed tigers of the past.
Sigh.
