How does starlight reach us...
As though it was a focussed beam?
If you think of light leaving the surface of a star at any point in time at a given distance you would be describing a shell.
The usual analogy for the expanding universe is a balloon with dots on it. As the balloon is inflated, the distance between dots increases.
Wouldn't the "angular separation" or distance between photons increase with the distance from the star?
How are stellar images "transmitted" such great distances without "loss of signal?"
