Yes of course. Every record low indicates we are not experience global warming especially if we ignore the increasing number of record highs. It's the big picture of overall averages that matters, not isolated events. Climate is not a simple matter of lattitude as the link posted above by GB clearly demonstrates. If GW disrupts water currents and air jet streams some places will be come cooler as others become warmer. Either one can be disastrous as building codes, weather emergency plans, and agriculture have all been developed in accordance with established climate.
