Space/Science

The next 100 years of cinematic science-fiction.

One-hundred years ago this month, the pioneer French cinematographer, Georges Melies, made a jerky, scratchy, B&W,
eight-minute-long silent movie that is considered the world's first science -fiction motion-picture: "A Trip to the Moon" [May/1902], based on Jules Verne's novel.
Did Jules Verne himself ever see the movie?

What I would find interesting is to take a peek into the future and
see how science-fiction is presented
on screen in 100 years.
Maybe you won't even need a screen,
a silver nor a video screen, to view a science-fiction production in 100 years.
Thanks to advanced laser-holography,
electron-sheparding by the same, and super Terra-byte computers, you may become a 'participant' in the sci-fi presentation, 100 years from now.
I think both Georges Melies and Jules
Verne would have been impressed.

cheers.
