Hi Guys
Micro-electronics, fuel-cells and closed-cycle ecologies have all benefited from space spin-offs. Now osteoporosis might have a cure via zero-gee medical research...

And another spin-off is the benefits from advanced ceramic technology. A good example is the leap forward in Stirling cycle heat-powered generators. Apparently you can use waste heat from a household heating system to run one to generate electricity. Made possible by advanced ceramics courtesy of re-entry protection research.

So who said space-tech is wasted money? Hah! It's done more good for the world than all the protests ever led by "Greenpeace" [more like "OilWar"...]
