Re: Texas Democrats Seek To Reinvigorate Johnson Space Center

Phil linked to comments by Rand Simberg on this earlier. As Simberg points out, all the sponsors of the "bipartisan" bill are from Texas, except I think one from Oklahoma. If this was an energy bill, it would have been treated as an obvious exercise in self-interest.
Not that this is anything remarkable in Congress, from either party.
Still, I don't think that the Democratic Party can claim a lot of credit for a "forward looking" space policy.
