A moonwalker

It truly was a great moment, being able to talk to, shake hands with Astronaut Jack Schmitt!
Only ten days earlier, I had no idea it would ever happen. The moonwalkers are getting old and some are reluctant to speak or to travel or ask for too much money. When the opportunity came up, we were a bunch of friends (we know each other through the net, as spacenuts living not too far from each other), motivated enough to go Delft.
Last year, at the same place, the Mars Society from the Netherlands had invited Zubrin to give a speech (with others) and we must admit there were at least 2 or 3 times more people, then.
Zubrin never went to another world and he attracts more people than those who really travelled to the Moon (that's hard to understand). I was convinced there would be more people coming....But actually, in a selfish way, it allowed us more time to ask questions than had there been more people.
It was....unforgettable.
