I heard some potentially bad news today
I was at our SSAIO kickoff meeting and was talking to a NASA rep. He said that the VASIMR program may have been zeroed out of the budget. I can't confirm if this is true or not but if it is, it's a damned shame. I've emailed Keith at NASA Watch to see if he can confirm or deny the rumor. Let's hope it's a false alarm. VASIMR has the potential to open the outer solar system to timely exploration.
