A good source for fusion power- all those AOL CD's
Does anyone remember the scene in Back to the Future II where the main characters are standing in front of a fusion plant. In the background was bags of laserdisc and CD to be turned into fusion energy. I remember thinking, back when I saw this movie in the late 1980’s that it will be a long time before people throw CD’s away.
It occurred to me that the movie makes a great prediction, not about fusion plants, but about a never ending source of disposable CD’s. You know what those CD’s are? They are AOL CD’s.
