I'm astonished at how quiet...

...all those those exoplanets are....in the radio part of the EM spectrum.
Our own Jupiter, at some radio wavelengths, is twice as 'noisy'
as the sun, and should be easily detectable from nearby stars.

Those exoplanets, being mostly gas giants like Jupiter, should be crackling with radio energy if they have fast axial rotations [generating powerful magnetic fields].
What's going on??? Why so quiet out there???
