One of your basic assumption is that everyone else is looking at Mars and only thinking in terms of Earth. It is a flawed assumption. Every Mars scientist I have ever talked with about Mars and it's differences, know them well and don't need you chanting Mars is Mars like! But, physics is physics everywhere in the solar system.
