Hi gang, I know I mentioned that I was layed off in March from my NASA contractor design position, well I am working in defense again designing amored amphibious assualt vehicles. I do speak with some guys still at the Nasa center where I worked, they are hanging on by a thread, programs are being downsized, funding being cut more than half, other contractors are laying off, it's sad. It's going to take a catastrophic, huge life shattering discovery to make space a dollar priority once again, at least in the forseeable future, and my passion for space is tops and always was. I have to pay bills and eat though, I hope to go back someday if and when the work is there. We need some probe to detect unquestionable life sources on Mars, that will do it for sure.
