It would have been nice if my thesis advisor had actually helped me on my thesis, instead I had to spend hours talking to a computer science prof in another department. Especially when some of the other students were given access to labs and equipment and were even supplied with ready-made computer programs to run. The guy had the gall to ask me to put his name in the list of acknowledgements too. He was a horrible instructor who clearly never went to teachers college. If he had I might have graduated.
