Re: Contact Probe
When I built my LEM model kit, (Revell 1/48th scale) it was for my 8th grade science project, which was a little more than a year before the Apollo 11 mission. Needless to say, it did not include the bent contact probe. (Had to make my own lunar surface out of plaster of Paris. Actually looked pretty good!)
