I would have expected, if you were the same Phil I know of yore, that we would have exchanged recognition signs already.

I take care, personally, not to get confused with others of similar names. It is a one-way street to damnation.

I am neither the Hoffman who writes scientifically of NeoProterozoic ice ages, nor the Doctor NIck of Simpsons fame. (nor any other near miss)

I am myself, and proud of it...

(or to embarrassed to inflict a misidentification on others!)
