The Voyagers
So, 4 days after Elvis died, Voyager 2 left the Earth for a most fantastic voyage, shortly after followed by Voyager 1.
I rmember very well buying the august issue of Science et Avenir and learning in the train when exactly the spacecrafts will flyby the planets. I was wondering where I'd be on august 25th 1989 when Voyager 2 would meet with Neptune and Triton.
I wonder how many people on Earth have actually touched parts of the spacecrafts before they left.
