The asteroid
Just saw 2002NY40 for several minutes, between Sagita and Albireo. Very fast but very very faint.
I had to use indirect vision; the ETX90 wasn't motorized and I had the 26mm eyepiece.
This was from inside the city of Antwerp.
I tried for 2 hours with the 20x80 binoculars but was unsuccessful. The scope helped finally.
My first Earth Grazing Asteroid!
In the US, you should be luckier as it will get closest to the Earth at a better hour for you.
