Yeah, well spoken. Yes NASA has spoken of a new planet within our solar system. This info was released on (I believe) the 7th of October, 2002. You all should check into it. And while you are at it read Zacheria Zitchen's book "The tenth planet". He builds an excellent case based on historical interpretation, and if for nothing else... entertaining reading. Dont read the back of the book, it makes it sound hokey, but just open it up and start reading with an open mind.
Further more, history is full off scientific advances that have proven once held fact as nothing more than belief. We should approach everything with an open mind and not shut ourselves off to new ideas and theories. On to the idea of UFOs and Other life outside our dustball we call Earth. I find it very hard to believe that GOD would create a universe so vast and beautiful just so we would have something pretty to look at and wonder about. And for those that believe if there is life out there it can only be microscopic and not much more intellegent than an insect or microbe... give me a break.
With how large our uiniverse is and the advances we have made in our development in the past (as current theory holds) 6.3 million years (I think it is probably much older than that, say ten million years) then we can rest assured that there is other life out there. And in all probability (statistacally speaking) much more advanced and able to travel vast distances upon more advanced propulsion system than we currently posses. What is the age off our galaxy and for the matter universe, say about 3.4 billion years for the universe (if I remember correctly). And, think about the longe lenth of time the dinosaurs romed the earth... humm maybe life began before that and had no devestating climatactic changes to compete with. That may have provided life a chance to continue on a pth of development far greater than ours. Just a thought for you.
Thanks for letting me write and rant. :)
