Re: Ultra Large Large Launch Vehicle

I’ve heard you mention the pipelaucher several times. I found a few posts where you outline it, but I haven't seen a complete description.

"The pipe launcher would be mostly filled with water and then this water will be
expelled causing the pipe to float and the water would act as a propellant.
This should be an extremely energy efficient way to lift a rocket.
Additionally, after lifting the space vehicle about 200 meters the pipe will be
slow down by the force of the rocket taking off."

24 pipes two feet in diameter 750 feet long (deep).

I assume the benefit to your launcher is overcoming the initial inertia (does inertia change when a mass is accelerated?) of the rocket as well as the advantage of an equatorial launch location.

At 100 psi (How many CFM do you figure?) what rate would you is able to displace the water and at what rate would the rocket/launcher be accelerating after 200 meters.

What is the source of the compress air (gas?)? Is the air pre-compressed in a storage tank(s)?

Are these questions in-line or did I misinterpret what you presented?
