Sheesh.
No doubt the Earth would be considered horribly wet, dreadfully poisonous, raging hot, and grossly unstable by any right-thinking Martian (if there are any).
The picture may actually show plenty of living organisms (or their effects) that we are not able to recognize.
The point is, we don't know.
What we need to do is quit assuming we do know and go find out.
