Space/Science » in reply to The Moon

Ya, but - - -

"Schmitt said that a key factor is beefing up funds to support the next generation of scientists that will carry on and take their turn in battling for lunar science"

I think as soon as an inexpensive way to NEO is found there will be an inexpensive way to get to the Moon.

THEN, bigolly, there will be Spacestation Moon, and THEN things will really take off. And land. To and from everywhere.

I don't know, but wonder if gravity slingshots would be efficient from the Moon to the outer bodies, etc.

It sure looks as if the first 100 miles are the hardest. Past that it gets pretty cheap.

Arf (if mankind can stay around that long, 35 or 40 years)
