Does a black hole have to be a "singularity"?
Does a black hole have to be a "singularity"?
Could there not be a point (no pun intended) where the "collapsing" or shrinking neutron star becomes so dense/massive that an event horizon is created which light cannot escape from, but while the object of gravity still has a diameter (ie size greater than a point)?
