Before the enegry is lost I would like to extend the idea of collaboration again...

Just to clarify, the Mars Institute is a research organization. As examples, it is more like the SouthWest Research Institute, Planetary Science Institute, and SETI Institute. It is not a grassroots advocacy group like the Mars Society. As a matter of fact we feel there is a need for a Mars advocacy group like the Mars Society. The two can co-exist.

If we can coexist maybe we can also cooperate or collaborate towards our common goals. I've a great deal of respect for you and for Pascal. I think you two are good people working on pretty much the same wavelength as I and most of the Mars Society membership.
If you and Pascal could cooperated with the Zubrins on some simple short joint press release it would be a great step in the general direction of collaboration.
I again, wish you good luck in the Mars Institute project.
