My quarrel with nanotechnology

Their are people who like to hype nanotechnology as leading to the next industrial revolution. However I strongly suspect that to do anything with nanotechnology it will be necessary to use biological constructs. These biological constructs will be based upon examples found in nature, i.e. bacteria, viruses, etc. Genetic information (DNA) will be programmed to mass create the desired nano-gadget. Nanotechnology will ultimately be a small subcategory biotech.

There is a new industrial revolution on the horizon but it's based upon biotech and not nanotechnology.
