of having the MARS manned mission broken up into a orbital insertion/lander config and another orbital /ascent vehicle bus that
transfers the crew to a crew return/earth orbit insertion vehicle? I mean, it seems a little odd to carry all of the consumables ROUND TRIP in one craft mode, when we could launch a robotic craft that would be in orbit a year or so before astros arrive with the equipment necessary for breaking Mars orbit and returning home safely, while leaving one plaform in MARS orbit for planet studies. ANyone understand this? ANY BIG PROBLEMS? ( besides rendevous?)
