Why does this guy think he has valuable insight?
Why does spacedaily bother posting his ramblings?
He comes across as a liberal airhead even to a staunch moderate (ie leftwinger to Larry J) like me. When he was executive director of the Mars Society all the active members I knew were asking what the hell are we paying him for. Thankfully Zubrin quickly came to the same conclusion and corrected that mstake. I don't know what possesed him to hire JCM in the first place though as they don't seem to be on the same plane.
