Probably background shots to be filled in with CG later during production. By the way I saw the IMAX version of SWE2 last week. Spectacular! Especially the sound. Funny thing was for the credits at the end they filled the big screen with names and finished it fast. They only have 2 hrs with the present IMAX system. They left out a few short scenes. Jimmy Smits part, which was small to begin with, was almost totally cut. He was only in the last scene watching the clone army loading into the big ships. He had no lines at all.
