I have to admit I'm charmed by the B5 reference. A place where humans and aliens can work out their differences...why is it so hard for humans to get along?
Delenn had one of those wonderful JMS soliliquies about how humans have the special gift of building communities, and once upon a time I posted it on my album page as one of my inspirations as ubermoderator.
The Zone may not be what it once was, but I still insist that it be a community. We come here to argue and engage in intellectual combat, but we must always close ranks to protect our own. We should never single anyone out for special treatment. No public floggings, and no warnings to newcomers to beware the troll. Because for better or worse, he's our troll. We're each others' trolls. Never forget that.
I forecast a happy ending.
