Looking down for the Leonid Meteor Shower
I saw that after being reminded over the weekend and searching for news of the Leonids shower to come. < a href= http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2002/09oct_leonidsforecast.htm > NASA's page shows times for viewing at a few U.S. cities and world wide locations.
This will be the last year for decades to see a Leonid meteor storm and the moon will be full, hampering the chance to see many meteors. < ahref= http://skyandtelescope.com/observing/objects/meteors/article_719_1.asp > S & T has a good article too.
Speaking of a full moon there will be a Lunar eclipse on the evening of the 19th if you can't stay up for the Leonids.
It's been a while, hope this worked.
