I've been busy of late, a belated posting here.
It was great to see those 'better-than-expected' images of the asteroid "Annefranke".
Pardon some sentimentality here, but, since the images do show the largest craters on asteroid annefranke, I think it would be fitting to name those imaged asteroid craters after members of her family and that of the Dutch city she hid out in.
On the science side, the STARDUST
spacecraft flew by some 3000km from the
asteroid. Although asteroid annefranke's gravity is exceeding feeble [especially
at 3000 km] I think it would be a good idea for the STARDUST Navigation Team to sift through the radio data [searching
for tiny doppler shifting] to get basic data on asteroid annefranke's gravitational acceleration rate
and combine it with the asteroid's volume
calculations to work out both mass and density.
cheers.

A belated post: Congrats on the STARDUST flyby.
