This is a topic where the on-site
employee, Kim Keller, would be the expert to say what would have happened
had those explosive bolt circuits
competely failed.
As it stands, the media is playing up
the sensational side by claiming that "had the back-up circuits failed, there would have been an explosion that would have destroyed the shuttle."
That's what the media claims.
Whether true-or-not, we'll have to wait for Kim Keller to respond to that media-based scenario on this website.
