Still have the transit problems
The numbers for the radiation hazard were from Joe Rotheberg and his team, adn the conclusions are theirs as well: - I specialize in impacts, not radiation, so all I do here is report without comment.
Since manned Moon flight is much quicker than flight to Mars, and both the architectures for the man tended astronomical facility have hard rad shelters already set out all along the way, I really don't need to spend time on this problem on Mars.
