Radiation?
How can Don Thomas have been exposed to so much radiation in the 43 previous days spent in space ,that he was removed from the next expedition crew, while russian cosmonauts have been able to return back to space after having been much longer exposed to those radiations?
There must be more than just radiation exposure.
