Probably not
From what I remember from the excellent book "Blind Man's Bluff", the NR-1 was built under very suspect circumstances for a very high expense. Many saw it as a huge boondoggle. I'll try to find the references in the book, but I don't see an NR-2 being developed anytime soon.
