From the pictures I posted, at least on this crater, it appears that no gullies formed on the exterior walls of the crater.
If the gullies were formed over a long period of time from snow melt, shouldn't both interior and exterior walls exhibit similar gully formation?
Wouldn't the heat from the impact continue to radiate against the interior wall of the crater for a period of time?
