Amazing.

I feel a bit as I did when I was a kid. I thought the guy who read the news on the radio every morning and evening was talking to just us, Mom, Dad and me. And the only reality was on my block and across the street. A block away was foreign territory, not quite to be trusted. NOTHING existed past that.

Somewhere along the line I gradually expanded my view. The next block became more accessible, friendlier, but the town down the road wasn't all that hospitable, nor did I trust it that much.

In high school the schools in other towns were jerks who wanted to take any advantage to beat us in football, basketball, anything.

And one grows up, to see that all people are pretty much the same - some petty, some wonderful, most a combination. Around the world.

And I wonder how many of 'em are out there in your picture.

Great shot. Thanks for posting it.
