NASA plays Mars
Calling scheduling software "autonomous" does not make a rover "autonomous".

What's going to happen now is that the next 2 rovers are going to be launched, hopefully land, and then operated. The experience will teach NASA that it needs truly autonomous rovers for Mars exploration.
