Does this data foreshadow a NASA base closure soon?

According to this TaxFoundation.org chart:

http://www.taxfoundation.org/pr-fedtaxspendingratio99.html

for every tax dollar that Mississippi sent to Washington D.C. in 1999, it got back $1.69. That was the 4th highest rate-of-return in the ENTIRE country. How does YOUR state rank, if you're in the U.S.A.? Regardless, hundreds of millions in annual funding go to NASA: Stennis, according to this NASA chart:

Could Trent Lott's recent resignation as Senate Majority Leader have an impact on NASA: Stennis like the end of the Cold War impacted so many (now closed) military bases? Nothing against NASA Stennis, but our national debt just reached an all-time high of $6.3 trillion bucks:

If Stennis won't get closed, which one's the most likely candidate? Or would President Bush risk annoying voters by continuing to let the debt grow, in order to appease special interests that want NO base closures? Somehow I have my doubts...
