Re: Wecome
The animation takes a light year to fully load but is worth it. Very interesting 95 year orbit.
Sure would like to know what this asteroid is made of. Is it remnants of the earth/moon collision theory or from a distant collision and then captured by earth?
This asteroid should be a prime candidate for exploring. At only 60 meters across it could be tough to land a robot on. How about 2 thrusters that self tap into the surface, ignite and alter the orbit to crash on the moon?
Who knows, we might need the experience,
