Re: My view of Delta 2 launch
I live in San Pedro, which is the harbor area south of L. A. The day started off overcast but cleared up around noon, and was not to bad at 4:45pm when the launch occurred. Unfortunately the sun had just set, and it was a bit too bright to get a good dark sky with the contrail up in the sun. Would have been spectacular then. I figure another ½ hr would have done it.
