Sounds like they need a shot in the arm of the right stuff.
Launch the thing already! There hasn't been a failure of an Ariane V in a long while. The explosion several weeks ago was of a new untested version. They should put some faith in their equipment and launch the thing. If they don't then the chance of the spacecraft rotting away in some dark corner is pretty good. If I were a desgner of the probe, I'd much rather see it launched, with the slim chance of it exploding, than to see it meet such a fate.
